Koffee Mameya Tokyo A3 Giclée Art Print
Celebrate your love for the Japanese coffee scene with my original A3 print of the iconic Koffee Mameya coffee shop, tucked into a quiet backstreet of Omotesando, Tokyo. Run by Eiichi Kunitomo with head barista Takamasa Miki, Koffee Mameya brings a whole new experience not just to the Tokyo coffee scene, but to the world at large.
This concept cafe was built on the same plot occupied by Kunitomo’s original coffee shop, Omotesando Koffee (now boasting several locations worldwide). “Mameya” in Japanese can be translated to ‘bean shop’, which is essentially all it is. There’s no seating, no food, no milk, and no sugar. It’s simply coffee in its purest form. The result is a stunning space that feels more like a shrine dedicated to the art of making coffee than a traditional café.
Mameya’s charming and attentive baristas perform a consultation of sorts with every customer to help them choose a coffee they’ll love. Nearly 20 different beans from the world’s best coffee roasters are on offer, (including La Cabra, Single O, Gardelli, Code Black, Cupping Room, Tokado and more) mapped in order from lightest to darkest roast. After savouring your cup, be sure to take home some beans — a hand-written recipe based on your homebrew method is included. It’s easy to wax lyrical about Koffee Mameya, but it is truly an unforgettable experience that must be witnessed firsthand.

NOTE TO AMERICAN CUSTOMERS:
As of July 1 2020, international parcel shipping rates to America have increased by over 100%. This has come to a huge shock to many of us small business owners. The United States Postal Service (USPS) has been forced to increase their rates by the US government, and as a result, these increases have been passed on to Royal Mail customers here in the United Kingdom.
This price increase only affects parcel-sized packages, and this A3-size print can only be shipped in this method. The rates for letter mail and large letter have not changed, so if you cannot justify the shipping cost and would still like to order something from my store, I would recommend looking at my pins, patches, and smaller A4 sized-prints. I apologise for the inconvenience, and hope that you understand the changes are beyond my control.
