Nihonzaru 日本猿
The Japanese Macaque, called “Nihonzaru” (日本猿) in Japan, are the most northern-living primates in the world. Because they live in such cold climates, they’ve earned the nickname of “snow monkeys.” At the Jigokudani “Hell Valley” park in Nagano prefecture, wild snow monkeys can be seen bathing daily in the hot springs—the only place in the world where this behaviour is found.
Available in two sizes. Frame not included.
